Using Mobile Devices in the Elementary Classroom

This presentation will share with participants the process one elementary school developed to implement 1:1 computing using mobile devices.  A plan was developed to communicate with parents, establish rules for using the mobile devices, and obtaining the free software and web 2.0 tools to simulate what students were already using in the classroom setting.  Find out how students are engaged in their own learning by using mobile devices.
